We are offering a workshop designed for people who have migrated to Google appsforVCU and are interested in learning the Google basics. If you migrated and were unable to attend a hands-on Google training session, this course is for you.

This hands-on workshop will cover the basics on the use of mail and contacts.

Learning Objectives:
  • Setup Chrome as the browser (recommended)
  • Log in to appforVCU
  • Setup recommended Gmail settings
  • Compose and send email
  • Check spelling
  • Add and open attachments
  • Create, apply and manage labels
  • Search for an email
  • Set Vacation Responder
  • Create filters (rules) for emails
  • Delegate Gmail
  • Managing Gmail contacts.
  • Add new contacts
  • Create and Manage a Contact Group
