In this video, an overview the brain and mind will be given, especially examining: the neurobiological processes of stress and anxiety and their effect on behavior; the social brain; mirror neurons and interpersonal neurobiology. Behaviors such as ADHD, Alexithymia, Compulsive Disorders and Learning Difficulties will be discussed, borrowing from the teachers of Daniel Siegel (IPNB); Lou Cozolino; Ernest Rossi; and Matthew Leiberman, amongst others. The information is presented in simple, understandable language that provides a foundation for those who wish to include an understanding of the brain and mind into their practice.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch.
Registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome.
