Learn the best practices of managing data on your computer. This workshop will help you work more efficiently and effectively with your files and folders, which will help you maintain a well-organized computer using the Windows 7 operating system.

- Copy and move files and folders
- Sort files and folders
- Search for files and folder
- Change the view of files and folders
- Display file extensions and the meaning of file extensions
- Use the best naming convention for files and folders
- Practice good file saving strategies
- Zip and unzip files
- Save and backup files to external storage devices
- Eject external media correctly from your computer
Note: This session will be conducted as a seminar. You may bring your laptop with Windows 7 to the session if you wish to follow along on your computer.
