We will be using Whitelight 1.1.20 [WooThemes] as our template. It is a responsive theme including such features as a customized homepage, a featured slider, portfolio management, personalized typography, and customized Favicons.
Learning Objectives:
After the completion of this workshop the student will:
- Show how to activate the Whitelight template
- Apply basic site customization such as styling options, typography, and layout specifics, etc.
- Identify suitable images to upload, edit, and save for the interactive slideshow
- Understanding the administrative settings
- Assemble images and activate the Portfolio feature
- Choose social media widgets to embed in your sites footer
