Dreamweaver is a Web authoring tool used to create Web pages. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the basics of Dreamweaver. The course will cover adding and formatting text, working with images, creating hyperlinks, and web page layouts. It will also introduce you to what the pros use, CSS3 and HTML5. It`s the secret to controlling web pages more easily and efficiently.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define a local and a remote site
  • Locate properties, open and close toolbars and panels
  • Introduction to CSS3 code control.
  • Introduction to HTML5 elements
  • Layout a Web page
  • Import text from Word or other text documents
  • Type and modify text
  • Insert an image and adjust image properties including the alt tag text
  • Create mailto, anchors, relative, and absolute hyperlinks
  • Draw hotspots on an image to create an image map that hyperlinks to other Web pages
  • Create and use a library item
