Dreamweaver is a Web authoring tool used to create Web pages. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the basics of Dreamweaver. The course will cover adding and formatting text, working with images, creating hyperlinks, and web page layouts. It will also introduce you to what the pros use, CSS3 and HTML5. It`s the secret to controlling web pages more easily and efficiently.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define a local site
  • Choose properties, open and close tool bars and panels
  • Communicate CSS3 code layout and formatting
  • Identify HTML5 elements
  • Construct a Web page
  • Import text from Word or other text documents
  • Modify text using font description files
  • Retrieve an image and adjust image properties including the alt tag
  • Create mailto, anchors, relative, and absolute hyperlinks
  • Design hot spots on an image to create an image map whose designated areas link to other Web pages
  • Construct and use a library item
