PowerPoint is a popular Microsoft Office tool. This workshop has been designed to introduce the basics of PowerPoint to you. The course will familiarize you with the easy-to-use interface allowing for unlimited creativity to design professional looking, high-quality, digital slideshow presentations.

Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize key differences between PowerPoint 2010 and 2013
  • Understand how to explore the interface and available features within the Ribbon
  • Manipulate a template for the purpose of creating a simple digital slideshow presentation
  • Identify the variety of customization tools available to the End User
  • Document the slideshow with a customized header and footer
  • Choose simple animations and apply them to text and graphics
  • Demonstrate how to print a slide show as slides, handouts, notes, or as an outline
