This course will present an overview of VCU`s Project Management Methodology and the Project Management Information and Tracking (PMIT) system that is used to classify and track the performance of projects. By attending you will gain basic knowledge of project management requirements, and the PMIT system`s purpose, architecture, and features. You will also learn how to use the system to enter and update basic project information, as well as report on project assignments, responsibilities, and schedules. This course is required for all VCU IT project managers.

Prerequisites: IT project management experience as a participant or manager.
