Best Practice Topics: What makes for clear course navigation? How can you set up your course to provide clear navigation for students? What communication will be incorporated into the instruction? Which tools will be used?
Prerequisites: Before Attending the Workshop
First time user with Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing.
Get started by completing the steps outlined below:
- STEP 1 - Check System Requirements
- Make sure that your system is compatible with Web Conferencing. Please, verify system requirements for Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing.
- STEP 2 - Each workshop attendee needs to download and install the Collaborate Launcher
- This is a one-time only step and may take a few extra minutes, so you`ll want to do this in advance of the workshop.
- STEP 3 - Once the Launcher is installed, go to our First Time Users Center to conduct a short test on the computer that you will be using for training and ensure it is ready for the workshops.
- STEP 4 - Please, make sure that each computer has a microphone/speakers or the workshop attendee has a headset with a built-in microphone
