Through its portrayal of the latest cutting-edge research and compelling stories, Sleepless in America illustrates what happens when we don`t get enough sleep or when our sleep is disturbed, reveals the emerging explanations for why we sleep, and illuminates an array of sleep disorders and explains what we can do to get a better night`s sleep. Following the film screening discussion will be facilitated by Cecelia Valrie, Ph.D., associate professor in VCU`s Department of Psychology. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch. Registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome.
