At the end of this training, participants will have an: increased understanding of the biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual norms of aging; increased understanding about current trends and research in Gerontology and its application to care work in adult day care settings; increased ability to identify aging-related stereotypes and myths that perpetuate ageism; increased understanding about how to educate others about normal aging processes.
Prerequisites: This program is specifically designed for Professionals working in DSS-licensed Adult Day Care Centers
