Ian Sullivan from the Center for Open Science will extend your knowledge of the OSF by by examining well-designed case studies and building robust workflows to manage increasingly complex collaborations in a fashion that will help ensure your work remains relevant and repeatable in the years ahead. The workshop will be hands-on and is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and faculty across disciplines. Topics will include: organizational strategies to support complex workflows and long-term reproducibility; tying together projects across studies and teams; and incorporating privacy protections and IRB concerns. This event is hosted by the VCU Data Science Lab and sponsored by the Office of Research and Innovation. Lunch will be provided at noon.

Prerequisites: Please bring a fully charged laptop to participate in hands-on exercises. Experience using the Open Science Framework (OSF) will be helpful. Those who are new to the OSF can attend a short introduction to be held beforehand at 11:15am.
