Nearly one out of three Americans provides care for an older family member. Join VCU HR and Anthem EAP where they will cover the issues of self-care, how to assess family needs and how to keep balance in your life. We will also talk about common emotions that caregivers may have and special situations of caregiving. It`s common for one family member to be the only caregiver for an older relative. But this can cause frustration and make you tired - both physically and emotionally. This seminar will teach you how to create a family approach to caregiving. We will discuss how your family can work together as caregivers. Learn ways to fix problems and handle fights with siblings, other family members and older relatives.SPECIAL FOR AUGUST! Have a colleague register and attend with you and you`ll both get a sweet prize!
